This piece on Explosions in the Sky is interesting in its efforts to tie our Facebook celebrations of the mundane to Ralph Waldo Emerson and Friday Night Lights, but I have no idea what he’s really trying to say.

Which, given the fact that Explosions in the Sky is an instrumental band that “says” nothing, might be appropriate.
